Conference OMS 2019

TOPIC

The past 10 years witnessed a significant amount of interest for the optimization of a measure. This question is at the core of many seemingly unrelated application fields such as signal and image processing, learning theory, optimal control, population dynamics,… This conference is an opportunity to gather researchers from various horizons to discuss how this problem comes into play, how to solve it (semi-infinite programming, Prony type methods, numerical complexity of these approaches), what are the properties of the minimizers, the links between continuous and discrete dynamics (gradient flow).
