Maths-Phys / Probability: I am a probabilist interested in questions raised in mathematical and theoretical physics. I am particularly focused on stochastic processes that describe models both in and out of equilibrium. Stochastic processes, such as Markov processes, are key to studying the modern theory of quantum measurement processes. Long-term behavior and limit theorems for these processes are essential to understanding important phenomena that are central to the theory of quantum mechanics, including thermodynamic fluctuations, wave function collapse, quantum trajectories, and the monitoring and control of quantum systems. The richness of the adressed models necessitates to developp new mathematical structures and new results in the theory of probability, more precisely in the theory of product of random matrices, jump-diffusion stochastic differential equations, strong noise diffusion limit.
