I am adjunct professor (Professeur associé) at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse of the Université de Toulouse (Université Paul Sabatier – IMT), France. I am a member of the AOC (Apprentissage – Optimisation – Complexité) research group.

My research work focuses on optimization methods and algorithms. I have a special research interest in interior point methods, incremental and stochastic optimization. The use of such mathematical techniques in machine learning is one of my main motivation. Applications range from support vector machines (SVM), kernel methods, articifial neural networks to other supervised or unsupervised classification issues. More generally, I am involved in various fields of mathematical optimization and their applications in science, industry and society.
