I have great interests in optimization, machine learning, statistical analysis, robust optimization with uncertain data, and stochastic optimization algorithms.
We (with N. Couellan) defined a new stochastic bilevel gradient algorithm for training large scale Support Vector Machine by using Bilevel Optimization and Stochastic optimization. The convergence is proven in another paper.
In real life applications, Data often suffer with uncertainties. We proposed a learning framework called Uncertainty-Safe Large Scale Support Vector Machines to learn the support-set of the noise distribution which encounter with worst-case robust support vector machine formulations for large-scale binary pattern recognition.
