Pattern recognition of yeast mating types by using three loci on chromosome III. collaborated with LBME (Laboratoire de Biologie Moléculaire des Eucaryotes).
For the chromosome dataset, the purpose is to classify two yeast mating type MATa and MATα. We first analyze by using statistical analysis and then use Pattern recognition methods, including k-nearest neighbour as a benchmark method, CART, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine and Neural Networks.
