BRGM is the French Geological Survey. The Coastal Risks and Climate Change unit is specialized in observing, modeling and assessing coastal hazards and risks (erosion and submersion). This unit has developed knowledge on wave, surge and coastal flooding modeling (see e.g. the projects : JOHANNA, PPRL / Coastal Flood hazard for Arcachon Basin) have enabled. BRGM also participates to forecast-oriented projects (e.g. FP7 MICORE, PREVIMER, ANR SPICY).

Geo-Hyd is a consultancy providing services in computing and environment: data acquisition, production, management, control, modeling, representation, interpretation; tools for decision support. It is regularly involved in R&D projects, like for instance the on-going ANR SAMCO project on adaptation to land-slide risks in mountain under climate change.

IMT (Toulouse Mathematics Institute) is a CNRS Research Laboratory which federates the mathematics community of the Toulouse area. One of the three teams is the Laboratory of Statistics and Probability. This lab led for instance the ANR COSTA BRAVA project on Complex spatio-temporal dynamics analysis by model reduction and sensitivity analysis.
